Education, specialty training & teaching
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Dr. Gross completed high school in West Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at UCLA and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia.
He completed a two-year, hospital-based pediatric dentistry residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and USC School of Dentistry, graduating as Chief Resident. His experience also includes teaching pediatric dental residents at UCLA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Professional leadership & community service
Dr. Gross is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
His service has included chairing the California Society of Pediatric Dentists’ Statewide Peer Review Committee and volunteering to treat patients in need through Santa Monica-UCLA Hospital.

Outside the office, Dr. Gross enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, spending time with his wife, playing golf, and playing the trumpet. His nephew, Dr. Michael Kleinman, joined the family-owned practice in 2012, continuing its connection to local families.
