Established in 1978, Westside Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic Group is a family-owned practice in Santa Monica serving children and families across the Westside. Dr. Bernard Gross joined in 1992, followed by his nephew, Dr. Michael Kleinman, in 2012. Many team members have been with the office for 30 years, helping build longstanding relationships with our patients. Our patients keep coming back because of our endless commitment to providing a safe, comfortable and technologically advanced environment for pediatric dental care.

Our staff constantly strives to give the best experience possible to our patients. We understand that each child is different and, for this reason, we cater our recommendations and treatment to each one’s individual needs. Our staff takes pride in treating each patient as if they were our own children.

Our philosophy is “less is more”: each child is treated as an individual, and every proposed X-ray and procedure is considered carefully. When treatment is needed, we help parents understand why and discuss an approach suited to their child.

Our office uses digital X-rays, laser dentistry, electronic health records, and computerized local anesthesia delivery. Comfort features include treatment-room entertainment, private treatment rooms, a children’s area, and an exciting prize wall.
